7-Day Tanzania Explorer Safari

Day 1: Tarangire National Park

After breakfast at your Arusha hotel, head to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive with packed lunch. Famous for its baobab trees and large elephant population, the park also features diverse wildlife like lions, zebras, and giraffes. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the Tarangire River before continuing your safari. Overnight at a lodge or tented camp.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park

Depart after breakfast for Lake Manyara National Park. Explore its lush forests and spot tree-climbing lions, flamingoes, and baboons. Continue to Serengeti for your first game drive in the endless plains, known for the Great Migration and diverse predators. Overnight at a lodge or tented camp.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park

Spend the day exploring Central Serengeti. Begin with a morning game drive, followed by lunch at your lodge or camp, and enjoy an afternoon game drive to spot more wildlife. Overnight at a lodge or tented camp.

Day 5: Serengeti & Ngorongoro Crater

Start early with a sunrise game drive in Serengeti before breakfast. Afterward, journey to the Ngorongoro Crater rim. Marvel at this UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to black rhinos, lions, and flamingoes. Overnight at a lodge or camp near the crater.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater & Lake Eyasi

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater after breakfast for a morning game drive. Spot an array of wildlife, including elephants, hippos, and zebras. After a picnic lunch, head to Lake Eyasi for an evening at a lodge or tented camp.

Day 7: Lake Eyasi & Arusha

Join the Hadzabe tribe at Lake Eyasi for a unique cultural experience, learning about their traditional hunting and gathering lifestyle. Visit the beautiful seasonal salt lake before returning to Arusha in the afternoon, marking the end of your safari.
