Altitude Considerations & Acclimatization Tips
Since this is your first day at higher altitude, it is essential to follow these guidelines:
✔ Stay hydrated – Drink at least 4 liters of water per day, sipping frequently.
✔ Altitude sickness prevention – Consider taking high-altitude medication in the morning before your ascent, as many climbers do. Consult your doctor before the trip to ensure suitability.
✔ Monitor your body’s response – At night, you may experience mild symptoms of altitude sickness, such as headaches or discomfort due to reduced oxygen intake. Inform your guide immediately if symptoms worsen.
